CAPE CORAL, Florida — Two men were arrested for DUI after a report of reckless driving involving a white Jeep Gladiator, according to the Cape Coral Police Department.
On June 12, 2026, the department received an anonymous tip about the vehicle swerving and nearly hitting other cars on Cape Coral Parkway. Officers located the Jeep at a 7-Eleven near Palm Tree Boulevard and Cape Coral Parkway. Andrew Konchek III, a 41-year-old, was seen moving from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat, driving the Jeep to another gas pump, and then returning to the passenger seat. Kevin Reardon, a 37-year-old, then drove the vehicle away.
Officers followed the Jeep and observed it weaving out of its lane and drifting into the bike lane. A traffic stop was conducted on SE 1st Place, where Reardon was found to have a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech.
