SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Lehigh Acres father was arrested after deputies said he rode an ATV recklessly and did wheelies with his 8-year-old son on board during a street takeover.
Jordianis Garcia, 29, was arrested June 15 on a charge of child neglect without great bodily harm, according to a law enforcement statement. He also was cited for racing on a highway and coordinating a street takeover.
Deputies said the incident happened in late April at a gas station off Palm Beach Boulevard.
Detectives with the 2nd Precinct Crime Section reviewed video from the street takeover. The footage showed multiple ATV riders driving recklessly and doing wheelies in the parking lot, according to the statement…
