In 2023, the Environmental Protection Agency set deadlines for utilities and agencies to begin reporting on drinking water levels of so-called “forever chemicals.”
The Peace River Manasota Regional Water Authority, which supplies drinking water to more than 900,000 people in four counties, is beginning that work, Executive Director Richard Anderson told The Daily Sun.
