A Cape Coral man is accused of using a cheap package of instant ramen as the key to a grocery theft scheme that police say went on for months, costing a Publix store more than $2,500.
Gulf Coast News reporter Jaylen Baron said 67-year-old David Crespo was arrested after investigators accused him of scanning a low-cost ramen barcode at self-checkout while bagging far more expensive grocery items.
