PORT CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte County man is charged with leaving the scene of a crash after his pickup hit a electric scooter driven by a juvenile, deputies reported.
Matthew William Hartwig, 47, of 17 Den Helder Ave., Punta Gorda, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, jail records show.
The crash happened at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday at Midway and Orlando boulevards in Port Charlotte, according to Charlotte County Sheriff’s Deputy Tristan Nasky’s report…
