PUNTA GORDA — Allegiant is kicking of its “spring seasonal service” for new flights between Punta Gorda Airport and Maryland, New York and South Dakota.
“Anticipating a surge in spring travel demand, we are excited to bring back these perfectly-timed seasonal routes to fly passengers to some of our network’s most popular destinations across the country,” Allegiant Chief Revenue Officer Drew Wells said in a news release early Thursday. “Allegiant’s affordable, all-nonstop flights allow customers to spend more time in their destination without to the hassle of managing layovers or connections.”
The airline, according to the news release, has “seasonal expansion” in 23 U.S. cities.
“Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com,” the news release stated.
The seasonal routes for PGD include:
• Sioux Falls, South Dakota
The route flies in and out of Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD) – with flights twice a week. The flights began Thursday.
• Elmira, New York
