VENICE — More senior living facilities in Charlotte County than in Sarasota County earned U.S. News & World Report’s Best Senior Living rating, and the two in Sarasota County that got it are in Venice.
U.S. News released its 2026 senior living community ratings Tuesday. It’s the fifth year such rankings have been reported.
More than 3,000 senior living communities were evaluated based on more than 540,000 consumer surveys, a news release states, with 1,614 achieving Best Senior Living status for scoring in the top 25% for caregiving; activities and enrichment; management and staff; food and home-like environment; and other criteria…
