VIDEO: Florida motorcyclist crashes into car, harms K-9 during arrest, deputies say

MIROMAR LAKES, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida motorcyclist was arrested on April 16 after he crashed into another vehicle while fleeing and harmed a K-9 during his arrest, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy observed a motorcycle traveling southbound on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway in Miromar Lakes and reported that the driver operated the motorcycle “erratically while revving its engine.”

The deputy noticed the motorcycle’s tag was “intentionally bent,” which obscured visibility, LCSO said. The deputy then initiated a traffic stop.
