Hospital safety grades remain steady

Only one hospital in the area saw its safety grade from The Leapfrog Group change since last fall, and it was good news.

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital, in Port Charlotte, is now a “B” hospital after receiving a “C” for the past three years of semi-annual surveys.
