CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Firefighters responded to a vehicle that ended up in the canal at the Burnt Store Boat Ramp in Cape Coral Thursday afternoon.
According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, crews responded just before 3 p.m., and the vehicle’s only occupant was outside when firefighters arrived at the scene.
Divers searched the vehicle and the area to make sure there was no one else. The vehicle’s occupant was taken to the hospital with chest pains, and a firefighter received medical treatment for a cut on his hand during the incident, the fire department said…
