Mild & Muggy Saturday night across the Gulf Coast, Hot Mother’s Day

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Expect low rain chances Saturday night for most of the Gulf Coast. Overnight lows will only drop to the mid-70s for much of the area Saturday night and with muggy conditions in place, it will feel more like mid- July than early May.

For Mother’s Day, expect low rain chances for much of the Gulf Coast. An isolated inland shower can’t be ruled out during the afternoon hours, but coverage will be limited. Most notable will be the heat, afternoon highs will peak in the 90s and with increased humidity in place, “feels-like” temperatures will reach the triple digits.

Rain chances will remain fairly low over the next several days, but some moisture could provide the chance for a few showers in the afternoon through the first half of the workweek.
