Road Rage: Hammer-wielding Florida trucker allegedly leaves driver bloodied at red light

LEE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A road rage incident escalated into a brutal assault when a Florida truck driver, armed with a hammer, allegedly attacked another driver, leaving him bloodied and bruised in the middle of a busy intersection.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, on May 6, deputies responded around 4:48 p.m. to reports of an altercation at the intersection of Helena Road and Cypress Gardens Boulevard.
