ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Office rescued an unlikely subject recently and documented everything on video.
In a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office, a video shows a pair of officers responding to a soccer field where an owl was trapped within a soccer goal’s net on Sunday afternoon at the YMCA Park off Aboite Center Road.
The pair gently worked to release the owl from the net, trying not to injure it any further. Once released, the owl begins to fly away from the perceived danger, but it couldn’t quite make it into the air due to an injured wing…
