FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead on the south side of the city.
Police received a Flock Audio Detection alert about gunshots in the area of Clinton Street and Rudisill Boulevard just after 12:20 a.m.
One minute later, a 911 call came in about a man who had been shot and was lying on the ground in the 200 Block of East Rudisill Boulevard near the Shell gas station and Little Caesars Pizza.
On the scene, officers and medics found a man who had been shot. Despite lifesaving efforts, medics pronounced the man dead at the scene…
