FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — A former Roanoke man has been sentenced to 60 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of children, federal officials announced.
Cecil Spangler, 37, was sentenced on May 28, 2026, by Chief U.S. District Judge Holly A. Brady in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, according to U.S. Attorney Adam L. Mildred.
Spangler previously pleaded guilty to one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children. Judge Brady imposed a sentence of 720 months in prison, equivalent to 60 years, followed by a lifetime term of supervised release…
