HUNTINGTON CO., Ind. (WANE)— According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, the Kil-So-Quah Recreation Area campground in the JE Roush Lake Fish & Wildlife Area will close indefinitely on June 29.
The campground, which is southeast of Huntington and has more than 60 sites, will close at 2 p.m. on the 29th, according to a message posted on the area’s page on the DNR’s website.

“This decision follows a thorough evaluation of the campground, including public safety considerations and maintenance needs,” the posted alert said.
