FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — According to court records, 4th District City (R) Councilman Scott Myers was arrested for “Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person” on June 4.
Myers confirmed to WANE 15 that he was charged and entered rehab immediately after the incident, saying that he is currently receiving care at Allendale Treatment.
Myers, who is also a doctor, said he self-reported to the Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA) and has entered its physicians’ assistance program.
