Fort Wayne Man Arrested For Possession Of Methamphetamine

NORTH WEBSTER – A Fort Wayne man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and resisting law enforcement.

Yull O. Morris, 42, Fort Wayne, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; resisting law enforcement and possession of marijuana with a prior conviction, both class A misdemeanors; and possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor.

On June 11, an Indiana State Police trooper was patrolling the area near SR 13 and CR 500N when they observed a vehicle failing to stop at a stop light. The trooper initiated a traffic stop, and upon speaking with the driver, later identified as Morris, the officer noted a vape pen.

When searching the vehicle, the officer located a backpack with a glass jar, a plastic bag, and a smoking pipe with a white, crystalline substance that later field tested positive for meth. A plastic bag containing marijuana was also discovered…
