FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) officer has been fired for improper conduct.
According to disciplinary documents obtained by 21Alive News, Officer Zachary A. Chapman was terminated in June 2026 after “an inappropriate transaction with a citizen who had a diminished mental capacity”.
