FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fort Wayne Police said a traffic stop involving heavily armed officers at a bar west of downtown Fort Wayne is related to an arrest made on Saturday, charging a man with murder.
At around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, a WANE 15 viewer captured a video while driving past a bar near the 2800 block of W Jefferson Boulevard. The video showed at least ten police vehicles and several more officers quickly approaching the car with weapons drawn in the parking lot of Bootleggers Saloon and Galley.
At that time, Fort Wayne Dispatch could only confirm that there was a traffic stop in the area.
