FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Multiple more rounds of showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout our Sunday, with slight chances lingering into Monday as well.
Heavier rainfall is possible at times, with expected new rainfall amounts of 0.5″-1″ on Sunday. Locally higher amounts are possible, especially across the northern half of 21Country, with the highest totals expected closer to the Indiana Toll Road. Across our southern communities, additional rainfall could renew flooding concerns from last week. Make sure you are mindful while traveling, and do not drive over flooded roadways!
Showers and storms continue into the evening hours, before coverage begins to thin out overnight. Some scattered showers may persist into Monday afternoon, but the threat of heavy rainfall decreases considerably as we get into the workweek…
