FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A crash late Thursday night brought traffic to a standstill on northbound I-69, just past Lima Road.
At around 10:20 p.m., police and medics responded to I-69 near the 311 mile marker. Multiple injuries were reported.
25 minutes later, a public safety alert was sent warning drivers to avoid the area.
According to police, two vehicles were involved in the crash: a car and a minivan. The driver of the car ended up trapped inside. The Fort Wayne Fire Department freed that person and provided medical aid. Medics later took that person to a hospital with life-threatening injuries…
