FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) —Construction continues along US 30 as INDOT works to improve traffic flow and safety along the busy corridor.
One of the major projects underway is at Flaugh Road, where crews are building a new diverging diamond interchange over US 30. The project is part of a larger effort to prepare the corridor for future traffic growth.
INDOT says 2019 traffic data showed more than 27,500 vehicles traveled the stretch of US 30 each day, with about a quarter of those vehicles being commercial traffic. That number is projected to reach nearly 40,000 vehicles per day by 2043…
