21Investigates: FWCS cites ‘loss of confidence’ in firing principal, but he alleges retaliation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Months after Fort Wayne Community Schools celebrated that “100% of Irwin students passed I-READ, reflecting excellence in literacy instruction,” the school’s principal was notified in May that he was being let go.

Now, he’s fighting back against the district.

Foster, who is currently running for an at-large seat on the FWCS Board of School Trustees, claims district leadership let him go in retaliation for raising concerns about racial achievement gaps…
