Huntington sweeps USF to open Crossroads League play

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Kortney Grimm led a balanced attack with 10 kills as Huntington University swept Saint Francis 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-20) in the Crossroads League opener for both teams on Wednesday night at the Hutzell Athletic Center.

Fort Recovery native Paige Fortkamp led USF with 16 kills.

Huntington improves to 8-3 overall with their next match scheduled for 1 p.m. at Bethel on Saturday.

USF falls to 7-6 overall with their next contest slated for 4 p.m. Saturday at home against Marian.
