“Military Appreciation Day” gives students a taste of life in the military

Purdue Fort Wayne hosted the fourth annual military appreciation day, where military and traditional students alike, get the opportunity to connect with each other. At the very beginning of the event two F-16 fighter jets from the 122nd fighter wing of the Indiana National Guard flew over campus in remembrance of the armistice that went into effect at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, which signaled the end of the ‘war to end all wars.’
