FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A Fort Wayne woman says her mother fell victim to a scam that police described as ‘unlike anything they’ve ever seen’ in Fort Wayne. Some of you may know Carmen Cumberland for her work with the Community Harvest Food Bank. Now she’s looking to help her community differently by warning people of a scam that hit too close to home.
