Longtime PBS Fort Wayne president, general manager announces retirement

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Longtime PBS Fort Wayne President and General Manager Bruce Haines has announced he will retire after more than 15 years of leading the organization. Haines took the role on in 2008 after more than two decades of leading Northeast Indiana’s public radio organization. During his time at PBS Fort Wayne, Haines increased the station’s power, increased personnel to bring local content to new media platforms and expanded the reach of its five broadcast channels via streaming services.
