FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Concordia cross country shined across the board to sweep individual and team titles during Saturday’s SAC championships at Northrop.
The Cadets’ girls team took the team title with their top five runners earning a score of 20, finishing ahead of Bishop Dwenger. Mallory Weller breezed through her race with the best overall time of 17:26.9.

On the boys side, Will Schlegal, Hunter Panning and Cillian Hoover took the top three spots to help Concordia earn the team title. Schlegal beat his teammate by hundredths of a second to finish in first place.
Cross country sectionals begin on Saturday, Oct. 12, with regionals the following week.
