A collision at the intersection of State Road 19 and County Road 28 sent five people to the hospital.
The crash happened around 5:10 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, when a Nissan Rogue, traveling east on County Road 28, stopped at the intersection and then proceeded into the path of a southbound Honda Accord on State Road 19. The Accord, which did not have a stop sign, struck the driver’s side of the Rogue.
The driver of the Rogue and three passengers — including a 23-year-old woman, a 2-year-old boy, and a 1-year-old girl — suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Elkhart General Hospital.
