Fort Wayne forensic scientist named Indiana’s best for 2025

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) – A forensic scientist based in Fort Wayne has been named the Indiana State Police’s 2025 Forensic Scientist of the Year.

Hannah Dygert works in the Forensic Firearm Identification Unit at the Indiana State Police Fort Wayne Regional Laboratory. She received the honor during the agency’s annual awards and recognition ceremony Tuesday in Indianapolis.
