FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – This week starts off warm and wet, with temperatures reaching the mid 70s this afternoon before showers and storms this evening. As a cold front approaches, storms will form out ahead of the front with a few isolated storms possible throughout the night. The main threats right now seem to be gusty winds, heavy rain, and the potential for hail. While an isolated spin up is possible, the chance is very low and should not be a worry as of right now. If that threat changes, we will let you know.
As for the rest of the week, temperatures drop after the cold front passes tonight. Highs fall between the mid 50s to low 60s through the rest of the week. Isolated rain showers are possible throughout the week, but luckily lows should stay warm enough where frost is not a concern…
