FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne Community Schools honored some of its staff members this week with ‘Teacher of the Year’ and ‘Employee of the Year’ awards.
Regan Jones, a 3rd-grade teacher at Bloomingdale Elementary School, was recognized as the district’s ‘Elementary Teacher of the Year’ for her relationship-based approach to learning that creates a classroom where students feel safe and supported to succeed.
