Teen sentenced to 13 years in 2025 shooting case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A Fort Wayne man was sentence to 13 years in prison for his role in a shooting that sent one person to the hospital in 2025.

Maung S. Noe, 18, was sentenced on Monday to 13 years in prison after being convicted of aggravated battery.

Noe was initially charged with Aggravated Battery, a level 3 felony; Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon, a level 5 felony; Dangerous Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile, a level 5 felony; and Attempted Murder, a level 1 felony. After accepting a plea deal, all charges were dropped, aside from the Level 3 felony count of aggravated battery.

The incident related to the conviction took place on October 18, 2025. The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) arrived at a home in response to an armed party call. Upon arrival, police were met by a male victim outside the home with multiple gunshot wounds…
