FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — If you’re looking for a race car driving experience, MC Racing has all the fun you’re looking for, just outside of downtown Fort Wayne. Whether you’ve never raced before or you’re a dedicated racing fan, there are several different options to try.
The owner, Mark Schmitz, opened up MC Racing to give visitors another option for a late night activity. They are open from noon until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday they are open from noon until midnight. You can book your time through their website, which can be found here.
There are many unique tracks and races, including the Indy 500 course, so you can experience what it’s like to be in an actual race. The simulators are different than a racing video game with direct-drive force feedback wheels and hydraulic handbrakes. A full carpet RC car track is also available to either rent out cars or bring your own.
Groups are welcome to come check out the action from birthday parties to corporate events. Memberships are also offered if you want some regular racing time. Pricing information can be found on their website…
