Omaha Steaks Carves Out Third Texas Store With Grapevine Grand Opening

Omaha Steaks opened the doors to its new Grapevine storefront last Friday, giving North Texas shoppers a third Lone Star location where they can walk in and buy flash-frozen steaks, burgers, seafood, chicken, and pork instead of waiting on a shipped order. The store sits inside Grapevine Towne Center at 1469 W. State Highway 114, Suite 600, joining existing Omaha Steaks retail outposts in Dallas and Fort Worth.

The Grapevine location fills a 1,735-square-foot suite inside the retail strip, according to leasing documentation from Weitzman, the commercial real estate firm that manages the center. Building permit records reviewed by Zabalist show the space underwent an estimated $200,000 renovation before opening, a buildout that typically includes the specialized commercial freezer and refrigeration systems specialty meat retailers rely on.

Community Impact, which first reported the store’s opening, notes that Omaha Steaks’ beef is hand-cut by butchers in Omaha and sourced from U.S. producers, and the Grapevine shelves stock the same lineup of complete freezer-to-oven meals, sides and desserts sold elsewhere under the brand. As Community Impact reports, the company has also rolled out a new business strategy centered on its proteins, with increased customization built into its product packages.

A Ribbon-Cutting Still to Come

The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce has scheduled an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the store on September 29, according to the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce.
