WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas — White Settlement Police rescue a family stranded in flood waters Saturday evening, officials say.
As a storm swept through the DFW metroplex on Saturday, White Settlement police positioned their officers throughout the city to be able to respond quickly to storm emergencies and damage.
Officers responded to a family that was stranded after being stuck in flood waters in the 8100 block of Western Hills Boulevard just after 11 p.m. Additional officers and the fire department were immediately requested, according to officials.
