Who is Cam Higby? Reporter allegedly gets his phone stolen, pelted with objects at anti-ICE protest outside Newark’s Delaney Hall

Independent reporter Cam Higby was at Newark’s Delaney Hall, where he had an altercation with the anti-ICE protestors. As seen in videos circulating on X, Higby asked them to give him back his phone while he sprayed pepper spray on them. The protestors then chased him and his security guard, and they somehow managed to get away from the crowd. Nevertheless, the protestors kept throwing water and water bottles at him.

According to his profile on PragerU, Higby’s birthplace is New York. His journey in this field began in 2019, when he started making commentary videos that got him millions of views. In 2022, he became a part of PragerU, where he created content and also hosted The Wrap Up. The profile mentioned:
