Eastridge Mall is about to trade shopping bags for wristbands. The late-night event, billed as Mallorama, is set for September 5 from 9 PM to 2 AM, with the dance floor planned for the Center Court.
According to NBC Bay Area, organizers are promising a full stage, lighting, sound and a secret lineup of DJs, while presale tickets went on sale Friday morning. In other words, the mall’s usual closing-time shuffle is getting a very loud after-hours sequel.
Center Court Gets A Five-Hour Nightlife Makeover
The event announcement says the party will take over the mall after regular hours, with full staff and security supporting the production. It is being promoted through Something New, while the performers remain intentionally under wraps.
For Brownies & Lemonade, the secret lineup is not exactly a new trick. Pollstar reported that the promoter has built its identity around surprise appearances and keeping artists unannounced until they take the stage. In San Jose, the mystery is part of the ticket pitch.
