A 70-year-old man was hospitalized Monday, Aug. 10, after he was hit by a car near the intersection of Menlo Avenue and University Drive, Menlo Park police said.
The man was crossing Menlo Avenue in a crosswalk near Draeger’s Market when a car turning left onto University Drive hit him at around 10 a.m. The driver stopped at the stop sign, but allegedly did not see the pedestrian, said police spokesperson Nicole Acker.
The pedestrian suffered a head injury and was transported to Stanford Hospital for treatment, where he is recovering, Acker said…
