Update: Woodstock Water Shuttle Expected to Resume Service August 21

San Francisco Bay Ferry and the City of Alameda have now announced that the Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle, known locally as Woodstock, is expected to resume service on Friday, August 21.

Last week the 31-passenger pontoon boat serving the route connecting Alameda Landing and Oakland’s Jack London Square, suffered multiple equipment malfunctions that rendered two separate engines unusable.

Replacement engines are currently on their way to the Bay Area and service will resume following installation and thorough testing…
