Firefighters stopped the forward progress of a vegetation fire Thursday near a popular hiking preserve in Silicon Valley, authorities said.
The fire was reported around 3:35 p.m. near Deer Hollow Farm inside Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve, the Santa Clara County Fire Department said.
