Milpitas woman charged with two South Bay murders

(KRON) — A Milpitas woman is charged with two murders after she allegedly stabbed a woman in a San Jose home, and intentionally ran over a friend with a car, according to police and prosecutors.

Anila Baby, 32, is accused of killing 39-year-old Ann Mathew in San Jose, and 35-year-old Anjana Hari in Milpitas, on the same day.

Just before noon on Aug. 28, Hari was walking through Mill Creek Apartments’ parking lot when a blue Toyota Highlander SUV ran her over, according to court documents obtained by KRON4. The SUV then struck three parked vehicles and fled the scene.
