Celtics Star Makes Strong Steph Curry Statement After Defeating Warriors

The Boston Celtics dominated the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, blowing them out by halftime, leading to the Warriors resting their regulars in the second half. Steph Curry was of course one of Golden State’s players who did not appear in the second half, but he still received some praise from Celtics star Jaylen Brown, who spoke on the challenge of chasing him around:

Not only did Brown address the challenge of defending Curry, but he also called the Warriors star a top-10 player of all-time. This opinion has been held by many since Curry defeated the Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals to win his fourth NBA championship and first Finals MVP award, capping off a historic run for the all-time leader in three-pointers.

While this showing against the Celtics was not one that Curry or the Warriors want to remember, it’s certainly one that will build confidence for a Boston team that has already established themselves as the best team in basketball this season. For the Warriors, it was a reminder that they still have a lot of work to do, even despite their latest stretch of wins.
