All but a handful of Clovis’s 50 highest compensated employees worked in the Clovis Police and Fire departments in 2025, according to records released to The Fresno Bee.
Four police officers and six firefighters dotted the top 10 highest paid Clovis employees, and they racked up large amounts of overtime or benefits that pushed them to the top of the list above even the city’s highest ranking administrators at City Hall.
None of those top ten were among the rank-and-file though with department heads and ranked police and fire employees filling up those positions on the list, which was obtained through a public records request…
