KINGSBURG – Authentic Mexican flavors are bringing new life to the corner of Sierra and Marion Street in Kingsburg, three years after a fire devastated the Kwik Korner gas station and convenience store.
Inside the Gulf gas station that reopened earlier this year, Tierra Caliente Taqueria is serving up breakfast burritos, tacos with handmade tortillas and a variety of sizzling meats perfect for any time of day. The Kingsburg District Chamber of Commerce helped Tierra Caliente Taqueria owner Eduardo Aguilar celebrate the restaurant’s place at the revived corner with a ribbon cutting ceremony June 26.
Chamber Executive Director Lauren Nikkel commended the city of Kingsburg for working alongside the gas station owner, Parminder Singh, to bring the building back to life after the fire caused the roof to collapse in 2023…
