Disturbance sends one to the hospital with a possible stab wound in Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A disturbance on Wednesday night left one injured in Fresno, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Officers responded to a report of a victim with a stab wound at Saint Agnus Hospital around 8:30 p.m., according to police. The severity of the injury has not been disclosed at this time.

The department says that speaking with the victim led officers to the area of Thorne Avenue and Bellaire Way, where a disturbance occurred earlier. The internal disturbance involved a group of male adults, and no one has been detained yet, according to law enforcement.

Officials say that they are unsure at this moment if the victim sustained an actual stab wound or a different kind of injury from the disturbance. Police are working with witnesses to find out exactly what happened, according to officers.
