‘Impatient driver’ causes crash in Fresno County, CHP says

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A head-on crash sent two drivers to the hospital and left two vehicles disabled in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol on Wednesday.

CHP shared a social media post on Wednesday, showing a head-on crash that disabled two vehicles. According to officers, an “impatient driver” passed over a solid yellow line on Old Millerton Road, causing both vehicles to collide.

Officers say the crash sent both drivers to the hospital suffering minor injuries, thanks to their seatbelts. They add, however, that the crash could have been “much worse.”

“No rush is worth risking lives. Passing over a solid or double yellow line is not only illegal but incredibly dangerous. Stay focused, stay in your lane, and show respect for others on the road. Being safe is more important than arriving a few seconds earlier,” officers said…
