LOS BANOS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A California Highway Patrol officer with the Los Banos area helped rescue an injured owl that was on Interstate 5.
On Thursday, CHP posted that they received a call for an owl near the road on the interstate. The officer found the injured owl that was on the shoulder, near the fast lane of the interstate.
The officer was able to rescue the gray-horned owl and transport it to the Nature Center, a wildlife rehabilitation service in Fresno, for care.
