Man hospitalized after central Fresno stabbing

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed in central Fresno early Friday morning, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Police responded to the area of Shields Avenue and First Street and discovered the man had been stabbed in the parking lot of a shopping center.

Investigators discovered the victim went to an apartment across the street. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that weren’t considered to be life-threatening.
